6800 gt question

on geforce 6800gs there are 2 power connectors, do I need to connect both of them ? or 1 is fine ?

You must have the AGP version with two molex connectors. You need two for a steady supply of power, I think it gets damged very quickly with only one. (A little like my friends computer, hes running a 24 Pin motherboard on a 20 pin PSU, i dont know how it hasnt exploded yet :D)

it's not agp... it's PCI-E one, it's running fine with 1 ... hrmm, is it REALLY bad to have 1 plugged in ?

You need to have both molexes connected, otherwise the graphics card will be underpowered. And nVidia recommends using a seperate PSU line to each connector as well.

to the back left of the card, you can see a little black thing standing out, i think that's the pci-e powerconnector
 
Ah! Okay, I figure that what you guys were talking about that part. Okay, I was a little confused because I never seen like this one before. Well, Thanks Guy. I'm learning something new :)
