6k rpm case fans?

Im looking to add 2 more 120mm fans to my case, for the intake. Since I have 2 slots open in the front that I havent used yet. Right now Im just using the exhaust 120mm fans that came with the case, and according to my hardware monitor they are running at 1770 rpm. To me, they are not really moving air that fast.

Now, I was looking at some 2350rpm corsair 120mm fans to get for $30, then came across this 6000 rpm fan:

Does anyone have a 6000 rpm fan? If so, exactly how much air do they move compared to a 2000 rpm fan? And about how loud will they be? Obviously it probably wouldnt be a good idea to have 2 6000 rpm intake fans paired with 1700rpm exhaust fans so I would probably have to get 4.

Criminy, that's fast! They are going to be very loud, especially if four of them are used together - think jet engine in a wind tunnel.

RPM and CFM flowed are not always directly related. You can have two 1800 RPM fans from different manufacturers with two totally different airflow ratings. It says they flow 210 CFM, which is at least double (and often 3x/4x) what normal ones do. Have you read the reviews? I'd be wary about the thing pulling too much power or disrupting airflow around interior fans. Looks like serious overkill for even a gaming setup, not to mention how much shouting you'll have to do to talk to someone in the same room.

on the website it says they put out 210cf/m which is a lot compared to most other fans being around 50-60. They will cool well but i have a set of corsair sp 120 performance which are 35db they are loud especially on full speed at the full 35db.

so having 4 64db fans on your pc will be extremely loud and you will not be able to hear yourself talk over them.

as its for your case then really they are not needed it may keep things a few degrees cooler but not really worth the noise.

As stated, they have specs on the site so you can compare directly.

6k - 210.38 CFM 64 dBA
SP120 - 62.74 CFM 35 dBA

If you wanted to use the deltas you'd probably want a higher end fan controller as each single fan would pull up to ~32.4w

Haha. Well, I was actually just looking for someone who has had experience with 6k rpm fans.

I was looking at the SP120s, and thats probably what I will get.

the sp120's are meant for radiators and heatsinks as they are sp (static pressure) fans, which is why i have them for my radiator. you ideally want a set of corsair AF120's or 140's (Air flow). or even nzxt fz 120 or 140's.

They pull about the same amount of air as the sp120's are a little quieter and spin a little slower.
