so, i have had seven for a couple weeks now and i have found that it will freeze on me every once and a while. i can't run anything extensive and it freezes on most games. i know for a fact that it isnt a problem with my motherboard, i had the same problem with my old board as my new one. everything i have is in my sig. 4 gigs of 800 ram.

I have fixed the random freeze, but it still freezes when i am playing some games, i have only found the problem with star wars kotr 2 and mass effect so far.

4GB Ram-3 Sticks

Your Dual Channel motherboard is only running your RAM in single channel.

The slots need to be filled evenly, in pairs, to aquire dual channel.

I'm assuming you have two 1Gig sticks and one 2Gig stick.

You'd be better off using the 2Gig stick and one 1Gig stick.

This may or may not be the problem, but I just thought you should know.

i have everything set up correctly, i know that for sure. But, I think that it is my processor that is the problem. but, back to you you were saying, would having a one gig stick stand alone be a problem, could it even be a problem?

Your board needs two, or four sticks to run in Dual Channel mode.

If you run one, or three sticks, it's only in single channel.

I don't know much about your system but may it be that your system can't handle high graphics. I remember installing GTA 4 on a netbook stupidly thinking it would run smoothly.

Hope this helps *
