I am just curious which one is better. It looks to me like the only difference is that the 7300LE supports DirectX 10 and the 7200GS supports DirectX 9...

I have the EVGA model 7200GS and the KFA2 model 7300LE

any input would be appreciated.

both are directX 9 cards,.....I can't think of any difference at all except for a bit of the specs and the name,......performance? the two should perform almost the same,..

those cards would bottleneck your CPU by a LOT

I don't really understand the term "bottleneck" but the reason I use these cards is because they are compatible with my leopard setup... and free after rebate :D

and I know the newegg specs page says DirectX9, but I'm looking at the product box and it says full support for DirectX10

Bottleneck is the term used to describe if a component, as in this case the graphics card, that hinders the flow of data due to it been outdated/under performing when compared to the other components which are alot better/newer.
The lower performance part cant process the information as quickly as it is receiving it and so you get a "bottleneck" effect and thus slows down the system.
