7300GS or 7300LE?

Hi,

This is my system config:

1. CPU: Intel 3.2 GHz EM64 (64 bit enabled, but not Extreme Edition)
2. Ram: 1GB DDR2 667 MHz, Single Channel of course
3. Mother Board: ASUS P5RD2 VM Motherboard
- 800MHz FSB
- 16x PCI Express Graphics Slot is present
4. 80GB 7200 rpm Harddisk

Presently I have a GeForce 7300LE 512MB PCI Express Card.
(Note: 512MB supported when system has 1GB Ram, which I
fortunately do)

My vendor is willing to change the card, and now I need to decide
between the following:

----- 7300GS 512MB --------- and ---------7300LE 512MB-------

Considering the rest of my system, how much will be the performance
gain in graphics if I go for the GS version?

Will it be drastically better, substantially better, or minimally better?

And finally, will the GeForce 7600GS 256MB be better than both of
these?

The 7600GS 256MB is far superior then the 7300. I dont know why you have a 512MB 7300, but it doesnt utilize anywhere near that much because the card is a low-end card.
 
By how much margin is the 7300GS better than the 7300LE?

Let's say I have to pick between these two. Will the 7300GS
be a whole lot better than the 7300LE?

7300GS is better than 7300LE by a small margin

7600GS is about 2 or 3 times faster than 7300GS

So, the best choice for you is 7600GS

If you only want to get a 7300, then the GS would be better, but I would pay much to upgrade from the LE.

The 7600GS would be much better, and actually allow you to play games decently.
