750w power 2x 6950?

The core power supplies are good, but not great. You are better off going with

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817207003

They basically slapped on a lot of marketing bull and claimed it is new, therefore improved, which isn't true. They are by no means bad units, they put out very steady power with little noise, however not as good as their more mature counterpart (that I put the link to)

Agreed.

It cost $20 more right? Next to nothing, but you get a much better unit:

  1. better efficiency (Silver 88%+ rather than 85%), equates to a $5 reduction in energy costs per year (not much i know), but 25% of the initial extra ($20).
  2. modular - good idea IMHO as it improves airflow, and looks a whole lot better
  3. A 40% tighter voltage regulation
  4. More current on the 5V rail (rather than the 3.3V) which is much more modern as it will supply the hard drives, PCI cards etc.
BTW, to answer your question, 62A is 744A therefore loads.
