Can you show us a screenhot of your Device Manager (in Control Panel under System/Devices) with the video option open, as well as a screenshot of System Properties? (right-click on My Computer)?

Here it is - it shows my on board vga (thats what my monitor is plugged in to)
craphics card doesnt come up, but the graphics card does work it isnt broken

Okay first thing is you're running on onboard graphics. Looks like you have to turn it off before your system recognizes the new nVidia card. Go into the BIOS and switch off onboard graphics. Should be able to press Delete or F2 or F10, something like that right after you turn on the PC. Just keep hitting the key. You can also look for a message that tells you how to get into the BIOS.

That is the reason why, Windows is not seeing your 7600GT. The option for integrated graphics should be under integrated peripherals. Disable your onboard, or at least set it to be the last video device to start up, and then you should be able to install the driver with no problems.

You can't have your onboard graphics AND your 7600GT running at the same time.

By disabling your onboard graphics card, right? The nvidia driver will not install when you are running another graphics card.
