7600gt fan doesn't stop running

For some reason my 7600gt video cards fan does not stop running. It used to only run during games now for some reason it stays on even when the temps lower. It just started this today. what could b the problem?

make a good dust clean up, maybe because u have dust in your fans, they arn't working as wellas they used to be and the system is more hot, so the fan always work.

I actually just dusted it really good about a week ago and my temps were down. they r still down but the fan keeps going. it just started an hour ago.

Have you played with any app, like Ntune, that adjusts the speed of your fan?

If your double tasking, playing videos, and stuff, that might count as some stress on the gpu...

Sometimes when I leave suspend, my 7600's fan won't slow down. I just use Rivatuner to slow it down to it's normal speed.
