7600Gt on 300w psu

think a 7600GT could run on 300w psu? Ive looked on a lot of reviews and it has low power requirments. its been a month now and i still dont know which card to get. i dont plan on spending over $200

A 7900GTX might run on a 300w PSU, it really all depends on how good the power supply actually is. Check the lable on it and see how many amps it's putting out though the 12v rail(s) As long as the total is around 30, you'd probably be alright...

So that's all you got? No +12 V 2 or anything? If that's it, you'd almost certainlly need a new power supply.
