7600Gt on 300w psu

A 7900GTX might run on a 300w PSU, it really all depends on how good the power supply actually is. Check the lable on it and see how many amps it's putting out though the 12v rail(s) As long as the total is around 30, you'd probably be alright...
 
i had a 6600GT and when im installing it the storekeeper told me that i will have to change a PSU sooner or later .. ATX 420W +12/13A

13 amps for 12+? That's a darn bad 430 watt psu there:P
