There seems to be some disagreement regarding the 768Mb nVidia GeForce 8800GTX. Dell have told me there are no drivers for Vista and so it can only be sold with XP.

"The 786Mb 8800GTX graphics card is not yet compatible with Vista"

Mesh say "The 8800 GTX is compatible with Windows Vista and there are working drivers available for both 64 and 32 bit."

Can anyone tell me who is right?

Yes nVidia does have 32 and 64 Bit drivers, they are just not the best ones to use now since there are alot of bugs and performance issues to work out.

Is Dell retarded, why don't they just come out and explain it, as Jet said, beta drivers. They must think we are idiots, 8800's carry DX10 and DX10 is for Vista. OMG........That is the worst I have heard of a PC manufacturer yet! They must just say that to their customers, because most people who buy PC's have a lack of knowledge for building one, they can't translate into the non-computer literate language.
