I am looking for a cooler for mine E5200, it has to be screwed in not the stupid clips, that do my head in!!!You got three in, you put fourth in and they all jump out....pointless. And I'll be buying a thermal paste as well so which one will do the job.

P.S. I dont want to create a new thread, could someone help. I have microsoft keyboard and mouse, cleaned my pc so I had to unplug the USB cable and everytime I turn on the pc this thing comes up: http://img2.imageshack.us/img2/848/capturebo.jpg

Whats your Max budget?

There is cheaper coolers, but honeslty they wont be very good!

Ive had Akasa, which are cheap coolers and they are crap so i wouldnt recommend one of those

This should be good,But until we know your budget il recommend this...

For the past 4 hrs....Annoying, it popped up to install it and I was like NO! CANCEL! And the update thing came up again :/ If the installation pops back up I'll install it.
30 to 35 was my budget so it's allright. Does it come with PROPER screws or stupid intel whatever you call them.

im sure that cooler comes with a Bolt-through clip...like this,Which would be alot better than the push pin ones the stock coolers use.

btw you can get that exact cooler from here cheaper,But not sure how good of a company they are.

Theres also these coolers:

Asus Silent Knight AL Socket 775 / AM2 / 754 / 939 / 940 Pure Aluminium

I have the copper version of that cooler, but its a bit more expensive, around £43 i think....but it is very good.

Also

Asus Arctic Square Socket 775

I have a Zalman CNPS7000Al-Cu

It's a very good cooler, you can use it for 775 and AM2/AM2+/AM3 brackets, it comes with a backplate and screws, it isn't too big and it can cool a Core 2 Duo with ease. only downside is that if you plug it directly into the motherboard it's a bit loud and you can't change the speed if you do that.

Mine cost $40 AU so that's about 20 pounds i think. eBay.uk should have them!

I mean I only OC'ed the E5200 to 3GHz so I don't need the cooler to perform top of the line. I just need a cooler with SCREWS and one that can do a little better job than stock.

Zalman makes good ones.... I have the 9700 and got it for about 40 bucks from provantage.com....Its a really good cooler and its all copper which conducts heat better than some of the other heatsinks on the market.
