ye i guess so i would brag if i had a xfx extreame edition 7800 gtx but i would be bragin more if i had a asus extreame n7800 gt dual which would set u back £617 pound woooow

Yes, but u do know that Doom3 and Farcry are Nvidia's bread and butter there.
if it was with half-life two, results would differ.

anyway, yes i believe the GTX is a little bit of an overprice if only 2-4 fps difference on games......i believe i might try to spring for a GT as my gpu.

yea i switched from wanting the gtx when it first came out, to wanting the GT, especially since XFX has an awesome card for about $340 on newegg
next month, no more x300 wooo

you may be able to unlock those pipe aswell. I've seen it done on an engineer sample.

I have a 7800GT and in rivatuner you can check the masked units on but it still says disabled. So I think in a newer version it will be posible to unlock. Untill then I'm stuck with a wimpy 7000 in 3dmark05 lol...

Far Cry actually performed better when using Radeon based cards than GeForce based cards. But that was before the 7xxx series and SLI.
