I am going to over clock my 7900gs.

i would like to run bf 2142 at high and other games.
when i load servers on 2142 on high, i get kicked to desktop.


So what materials?

like program that over clocks and fans.
cause i dont think stock will do.


and do i add the fan/cooler over the stock?

your not getting booted because your card sucks... your getting kicked for some other reason... try reinstalling
 
reinstalling bf2142?

i changed my settings to low or medium, tried a server, got it, no problem.



nonetheless i want to oc my card

or is load a codename for something.

if its number 1. where do i check temps?

i dont have anything that would tell me.

keyboard tells me cpu and ram
 
Cant i just get a cooler for it, just to have peace of mind?


would a pci slot cooler do?

i cant find anything that plops on the 7900
 
bahhahhah this thread made me laugh, and you could get a cooler if you really wanted to.. it would ease your mind, but i dont know anything about a cooler for a 7900GS, my best would be is that the 7 series cards all share the same footprint as far as cooling and GPU placement goes.

i just wanted peace of mind, since stock cooler and over clocking may not go well.

and people were more worried about asking my temps, which i couldnt find it on speed fan and got frustrated.


can little heatsinks be enough
