7970 on 27"?

Hello again

I was looking at a screen that is 27", 2560x1440 @ 60Hz.

Will a single 7970 be able to manage Battlefield 3 at Ultimate Settings on this screen?

I'd go for a 680 but either should do it, you might not be able to get every single setting maxed but i think you can. BF3 is better on Nvidia cards, you'll get a good bit higher frame rate, but the extra vram on the 7970 does better at higher resolutions.
