I'm looking for a computer tower, monitor, operating system, keyboard, and MS-word for under $800. In the computer I'm looking to play Diablo 2/3, Counter Strike, and little things like AIM, Facebook, Itunes. Would this work? The total comes out to $1,000.00 After shipping and rebates and discount. Can anyone lower the price down to $800 with all the components listed or anything i missed.

not bad stuff u have there but umm i say for ram pay a bit more 11 bucks for the same brand for the DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) instead of 800 6400

PSU - I don't know if APEVIA PSU good...
May be getting some well known one, e.g. CORSAIR CMPSU-650TX, OCZ GameXStream 700W

I've had one for 2 years and it's been perfect.

The only way I can see to reduce the cost of this build is to reduce the CPU to a Dual Core and reduce the Graphics Card and maybe skip the monitor for now.
