800MHz in a 1066MHz Motherboard?

Hmmm, that's what I thought, but I just wasn't sure. I didn't want to go out and buy something that I wasn't sure was going to work or not. Thanks.

On that list you posted though, G.Skill wasn't listed at all. Does that mean that it WILL NOT WORK for sure, or that those are just the 'supported' types of RAM that are guaranteed to work and my G.Skill is just not recommended?

Gigabyte is pretty good about working with most ram manufactures. Unlike Asus which is very picky.

You might have to set your ram timings and voltages manually, but it should work fine.

You might consider using some ram that is on that list though, just to be sure.

Alrighty. Thanks for all your help!!

I just read through a bunch of ratings on the RAM that I am planning to get. There were multiple people with the motherboard I want to get (Gigabyte P35-DS3L) that said that it booted no problem so I'll just go ahead and get the G.Skill and then cross my fingers and hope it works.
