810 overclocking probs

Phenom II, 810, is the cpu.. k so i've heard of people getting these things going really fast, as much as 270mhz fsb (like 3.7ghz) but i can hardly get mine stable at 3 ghz (230mhz fsb)

i'm currently dropping the ram multiplier (833mhz ram) to 3.3 (so it's 660 mhz but still reaches about 800 when oc'd) so i'm sure thats not what problem is

I have alse tried dropping HT link speed to 1.6 ghz (so that after oc'ing it's like 1.8 which it should be) and have dropped the NB to x7 (x7 of which i don't know? guessing it's a fsb thing.. usually just leave it on auto i think it changes based on ht link speed) i've tried bumping up the vcore to 1.5 from 1.325 and smaller increments but no luck

i havent adjusted the nb or sb voltages because i got no idea if they will help

any suggestions on what else to change? this is driving me nuts, just boot fails or hangs after 30 mins

Try these settings with the latest BIOS update:
set Vcore to 1.55V
set HT Northbridge to 1890MHz
set HT link multiplier to 7
set HT base clock to 270MHz
disable C1E

ok cheers, mate, thats what i was looking for someone elses settings

Whats c1e? i cant see any information about it.. i upgraded the bios a few days ago (which netted 500 cpu marks in 3dmark06 believe it or not) so it is the latest version

i've seen people mention C1E a few times before, but cannot see it in bios, unless it's under another name

btw, it's running stable on those settings now, thanks a heap for those, exactly what i was looking for, just got some 1066 ram too which sweetens the deal more, thanks again ;)

4.5k-5.5k 3d cpu marks

you can try lowering the vcore by the way, some boards/chips will run the same as others at lower voltages, just a more efficient batch. take it to 1.49v or whatever your next notch down is, if it's stable you just saved some heat and power, if not, who cares :P
