8600 or 8900 date?

hey does any one know when the 8600 or 8900s are comming out. im thinking of getting a 8900gts the cheapest new generation core 2 duo 1333fsb.


does the e6650 overclock well even if i use this memory http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820227072
on a nforce 680i sli i have to use that memory because i brought it and i cant return it now and dont want it to go to waste, if i cant overclock ill just go with the 1333fsb c2d i hope it will be a great differnce
 
There's no certain date, but the 17th of April is the speculated date for the 8600 and 8900, and April 22nd the is the certain date of the C2D refresh/price cuts.

All I can find is Q2 and some source saying they'll come out at the sametime as the R600. Id say prey and hope they do better with this release than they did with the 8800

i have no idea what he meant, maybe they run a little hot thats all

maybe he meant they didnt release the 320mb ver?
 
They just seem to be having a slight issue with the drivers right now. I don't think that there is anything wrong with the card, just maybe they jumped the gun slightly and they seem to be having driver issues for the moment. I'm sure that they will have them worked out by the 8600/8900 release. Of course not everybody is having issues with the drivers which makes me think that its more operator error than anything else. Sorry if I should have posted these things earlier but I was in a hurry to get some sleep before I went to work.
