8800, 9600, or 9800?

Okay, so here is my problem. I currently have an xfx geforce 8500gt 512mb ddr2.... ugh. Anyway, i'm looking to upgrade my video card, but since I'm 17 with no job money is an issue. I can't decide between the 8800, 9600, and 9800. the 8800 and 9600 are close to the same price now, is there that much of a performance boost in the 9800's? and is it worth paying $300-400 for a 9800 when i could get a 8800 or 9600 for $160-220? So i'm looking for the best price/performance ratio.

No. The 9800gtx is at most 10-20% faster than a 8800gt, and the 9600gt is right behind that, so either of those are your best options.

Save for a 8800GTS G92 dude... cheaper then the 9800 series and performs sooo well.
