8800 GT work with this motherboard?

I know my motherboard support PCI Express x16, but the video card are PCI Express 2. They seem to look the same but i just wanted to verify that whether they are compatable or not

Yeah, it'll go fine. PCI-e 2.0 is backwards compatible.

I have a PCI-e 2.0 card working in a PCI-e 1.0 slot just fine
