ok so im definately gonna get one of thes cards but i realy dont know which one.

Is their realy a significant improvement in getting the GTX over the GTS?

the brand im gonna get will probably be the XFX models.

is the improvement on the GTX realy worth £100 i love my games but im not very clued up on all the mb mhz and all that stuff so wondering if someone could clarify.

Thanks =]

gts is shorter in size than the gtx, one has 96 processors while the gtx has 128, higher clock and memory speed.

Core Clock: GTS = 500MHz (or 575Mhz or 576MHz), GTX = 575Mhz
Onboard Ram: GTS = 640mb, GTX = 768mb
Memory Interface: GTS = 320Bit, GTX = 384Bit
Memory Clock: GTS = 1600MHz (or 1700MHz or 1800MHz), GTX = 1800MHz
Stream Processors: GTS = 96, GTX = 128

you'll have to make up that for yourself ;) but if it was me, I'd say yes. :)
(but then... I spend 700 euro on my grafic's already... so i gues I'm insane enough ^^ havnt regretted doing that so far tough,.. since its still working great)

ill go for the gts... loads cheaper and i'm sure it can overclock well then later upgrade to 2 of them in SLi should last quite a long time i reckon.

thanks for the advice.

If your willing to spend the money on two GTSs, why not get one GTX for now and wait a little bit longer until a price drop and then get the other?

oh awsome.. Im going to spend alot of time there.. thats a very very helpful site. if only it told you the 3dmark scores it would be perfect!
