8800GT-512 is faster than 8800GTS-320 ?

Yes it is. There is a reason why the GTS is more expensive, i just don't know why. Its probably due to it being phased out and retailers attempting to get rid of it.
 
I'm pretty sure, not completely though, that the 8800GTS uses an older chip that is more expensive to manufacture and is less efficient. The GT uses a different, cheaper process, but is more efficient. Something to that effect.
