8800GT fan stopped working

Yesterday I started getting problems where every time I booted into windows the screen would flash several times (turn off then on), before I would get a BSOD stating my display drivers have failed. I tried rolling upgrading/rolling back and uninstalling my display drivers, non of which worked (note I did this through safe mode where there weren't any problems). I also tried dusting out my PC to see if it would help - nothing. On closer inspection I noticed the fan on my 8800gt stopped working, so the first thing I tried is updating my motherboard's bios which seems to have solved the BSOD problem but the fan still isn't working.

My specs:
Windows 7 64-bit
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 CPU
4gb ram
GA-P35-DS3P motherboard

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! I couldn't find any decent info googling the issue...

I ordered a new one to arrive for today from ebuyer, only to find out now that they've delayed it until Monday. Which is pretty bad because there is some work I have to get done before then -

Anybody know any shops that I can go to in the UK to a new fan in person?? I've been searching frantically but haven't found anything.

If you need to get work done, get a big desk fan, create a system to funnel the air to that region of your PC. The temps will be higher then you want for sure but it won't overheat. Try that in the meantime...goodluck!

^ I just finished setting that up now with my fan, aswell as rearranging a couple of fans within the tower to point at the graphics card. When I turned on my PC I noticed the GPU fan started working again! Don't ask me why, I haven't got a clue :P

I already ordered a replacement fan too :-/ Oh well this new fan is supposed to be much better anyway.

Cheers guys.
