I'm having a lot of trouble with my graphics card (Gigabyte 8800GT) and my OS (Windows Vista x64). Whenever I install a driver for the graphics card, either official Nvidia or Microsoft updates, my computer won't boot.
It gets to a windows loading screen, then goes black - until I reset.
I've got a copy of Windows 7, and it installed fine to the point of 'preparing windows for first use: testing video graphics' (or something similar) then it froze too, repetidly.
In a nutshell: I can't find a driver for my video card that doesn't crash either of my OS. Help?
