8800GTX vs 8600GT SLI

How would the 8600GT in SLI compare to the 8800GTX?

The 8800GTX is MUCH better, even assuming that dual 8600GT's doubles the performance (which they don't).

The 8800GT's are excellent video cards, they perform better then the current 8800GTS.
