8800GTX vs. 8800 Ultra

Which one should I get? I want future-proof for gaming, I know I am going with EVGA.

I am curious this myself but I'm sure most here will say GTX as bang for buck and you will not see a difference unless in benchmark. I would vote Ultra as I like to say GO BIG OR GO HOME. Plus, I always like having the nicest shit. Ultra.

If you dont want to wait for the 8900, then I would get the 8800GTX for now. The Ultra is just an overclocked GTX.

Yes the Ultra has more shader processors, but overall it's pretty much even clock for clock.

The 8900 won't be 500$ ROFL, it'll be at 800ish at first then it'll go down to like 650ish
