8GB of slow ram, or 4GB of fast?

OK, I'm on a memory budget, and I'm not quite sure on what I want, I have the Asus P8P67 Pro MOBO, Now i was either looking at 8GB of Ram at 1066, or 1333 speed, and if I do get that, which would be smarter, 2X4GB, or 4X2GB? And the other one I was specifically looking at was the DOMINATOR-GT 4GB DDR3-2000

I have the i5 2400 2nd Gen CPU

My Budget is 120$, and I am planning on buying it at Microcenter, unless its drastically cheaper on newegg or something.

So guys, what do you recommend for me? (I'm a Multitasker, and I do a lot of video encoding too)

Thanks!

I would take the 8GB every day. The faster memory is so overpriced and for little to no real world performance gain, definitely not enough to notice, in fact quite the opposite, a larger amount of "slower" RAM would give better performance than a smaller amount of "faster" RAM (generally).

Going by Newegg's prices:

Of those I would take the black ones because of the much, much tighter timings at stock

if your doing 8 gig just make sure your running a 64 bit operating system. 32 bit will only see about 3-1/2 gig.
