Just for reference to everyone thinking the 9800GTX is worse than an 8800GTS 512MB, here is both cards at stock:
edit: Also, the 9800GTX isn't the 9800 series flagship card, the GX2 is. Now I also wouldn't call them GeForce 9s but I guess NVidia would rather call it a new generation than a refresh like the 7950s (or 8850 in this case) and what-not before that.

Uh, it smuch better than those stupid 8600gt 's![]()
Crome, Well Yeah... The 9800GTX is better when both cards are at stock.
The point I'm making is, they're aren't worth the money, when you can easily buy a cheaper card and OC it to above the GTX.
I'm hoping their new series will be an improvement! At the moment, nVidia just seem to be rolling them off the back of the wagon.![]()

So they ARE just the same card![]()
*facepalm*
Ditto that, Andy!
I was facepalming YOU! I've said that a couple times already, dontcha know.![]()
Well, Erm... Yeah, I know, Uh... LOOK A UNICORN!![]()
I knew they were the same card, but I didn't think if they were clocked the same, they'd be EXACTLY same, I thought there'd be maybe a little difference... My bad.
WHERE?!... Ah you bastard, you know how much their dropping go for on ebay!?
They aren't quite exactly the same if the site screws up the FLOPs calculation consistently. The 9800 appears to have a bit more power at the same speed, the memory rate is the same because they both have the same memory interface width and same RAM speed.
About $40, Not like a Trolls![]()
lets put it this way. they are better, but they should not be considered another league, but a revamping of the current stuff. this isnt the difference from a 6800XT to a 7900XT, its much smaller.
