While looking through some Athlon 64's, I was wondering what and how great are the advantages of spending around $100 more to get a socket 939 90nm 3500+ as opposed to the socket 754 3200+, both operating at 2.2Ghz and with the same cache sizes.
I'm assuming the 3500+ runs cooler and allows better overclocks, but I'd think there would be other benefits too.
Thanks for any answers.
