Hello.
I bought dell 4700 which comes with 915G. It had 256 ddr2 pc3200 memory.
I want to buy 1gb of ram , so i'm a little confused:
1. On intel website it says that 915G supports both ddr and ddr2 , so how is that possible since when i go to online store it says that ddr2 is 240 pins and ddr is 184 pins, how can they both fit?
2. Also, i figured that ddr2 is more expensive (284cad for 1gb 2x512 pc4200), so i could just buy dual channel ddr pc3200 for 229 (not a big difference in price u might say, but i dont think ddr 2 will help me alot with p4 2.8), so should i still go for ddr2 or stick with ddr?
