Hi! My sister recently went to a garage sale, and got a 1993 computer that runs on Windows 95. It only has 200 something MB of space :( , so i wanted to put a hard drive from our other computer in hers. It started up and says it is checking everything, then it says HARD DRIVE 1 FAILED/ABSENT. I realized i have to set the parameters for the hard drive, but the problen is on cylinders and landing zone, it only allows me to go up to 2000 something, and i need to go up to 16383 :( . Does anybody know a way to fix this? I know im probably going to have to buy something, but i just don't know what it is I need to buy! PLEASE HELP ME.

If it does you'll have to do BIOS hacks ... that's funny... 1993 computer ... windows95 :p Check the drive manufacturer's site for a BIOS hack .... although i duno if you'll find it anymore
