Yeah it doesnt matter...the rig in my sig runs Ultimate and as you will see my systems an old Socket A:P

I had the RC1 beta set for the Vista Ultimate selection and am currently running the Home Premium edition on the second drive here to multiboot with both 32bit versions of XP. Other then the expected bugs seen with any brand new version of Windows it has been running like any other other version where there's the initial lack of drivers available. One thing to add here adds to what kof2000 has mentioned about memory. It boots and runs normally for the most part with the 2gb of Kingston Value Ram. Those extra new features do grab a little more then seen with XP.

run's great

That is the pc I have installed vista just had to download the sound drivers but all in all run''s good but run's alot better 1g of ram

A friend of mine has an Athlon x2 4400+ socket 939 and an HIS Radeon X1950 Crossfire, 2gb ram and vista is nothing.. blazes through everything

The board here is an Asus A8N SLI model with the AMD64 3500+ single core cpu and 2gb of Kingston DDR400 value ram. How''s that for a start. Currently Vista is set as the default boot OS with XP Home and Pro versions on the other drives. Besides the initial wait for sound drivers and no Vista patches for older softwares the new Windows has been running stable on the stock system here. The "send page" and "send link" options in the file menu of IE 7 are one problem since those are greyed out. The only one seen in black text is the "send shortcut to desktop" option there.
