9600XT, Any Good?

Hey, you chances are you alread saw my other post about what video card to get, but i am just curious how good a 9600XT is. My friend suggested that i check it out because he had one before. I am just curious, i have a 2300+, 1gb ram(dual channel). If i was to get a 9600Xt do you think i could play F.E.A.R. on medium settings with about, on average, 25FPS? Thanks

i think you might be pushing fear on medium settings but you should be able to play it

I have the 9600XT, runs great! I never tried F.E.A.R on it though, but it can play CS:S on high settings and BF2 on Medium-High settings. And my setup isnt that much different then yours.

P.S. When i ran those games on those settings, i had 1GB of RAM.
