9800GTX+ an river tuner help

i opened my river tuner an looked at the settings for my 9800GTX+ an i have never OCed a nvida card so i dont know what all these settings are all i know is core clock an memory dont know what standed 2d is or low power 3d or performance 3d an some other things.
could someone just explain all these things to me plz

isn't riva tuner for ATI cards? or is it for both? just use nTune for your nvidia card, its actually an nvidia program for nvidia cards and you can get it at nvidia.com
