A basic Vista question about my screensaver.

hi i have a vista querstion. it should be easy even for me to answer but for some reason im having a brain fart and dont know how to fix my "problem" so i was wondering if you could help

-when i am not doing anything the screen saver goes on which is obviously what i want, but then about 5 minutes later the screen goes blank and no longer uses the screen saver. kinda sucks cause if i didnt want a screensaver i would choose the blank screen option there. anyways, i was wondering how i turn this default black screen thing off.

-is there a good program out there that i can make my own screensaver? (a basic one since im not into programming)

I'm not sure about a screensaver making program.

But as far as your issue goes--

Go to Start and type in 'Power Options'.

You can change what your machine does in there and edit the settings to make machine behave how you want.
