Will Windows 11 S mode show in the settings/system/about/windows specifications page? New HP laptop running Win 11 Home V23H2. I read online that S mode is standard on the Home version, but also I read that one cannot download browsers other than Edge in S mode. I downloaded Firefox and DuckDuckGo the first day and use them both, so is my system not in S mode? I thought I needed to turn it off to download non MS apps, but have not done so. I can't tell for sure if it is on or off.

Yes S mode will show up in system properties if its enabled. Where it says windows 11 home, if it says in S mode then you have Smode if it says exactly what it says in the image below, you have the regular version of 11.

Yep, that's just what it looks like. So I have WIN11 without S mode.
