a few last newbie questions

you guys know im trying to do a buget build.. this is my first computer build, i dont know much about them, iv been reading alot and this is what i have so far.. i only wana spend about 500 right now is all i got, but will be saving up and adding better stuff to comp. later, is this everything i need to beable to hook it all togeather and turn it on? also whats a good but cheap OS? or can i get a copy of vista somewhere cheap.. EDIT: i know i need a hardrive, but other then that...

Where are you buying from?

Overall the system is VERY weak. $500 could do LOTS better. The FX5200 is outdated like hell.
 
ok, i like how you threw ur opinion out, im hoping for more of this, and if you think i can do better would you mind throwing in some ideas? im hoping to go through tigerdirect but im a bargen hunter and will go elswere
 
ill put something together for you, but just not now, its too late and im tired. ill get something together for you tomorrow.
 
yeah that would be cool.. could you specify the part instead of just putting the modle down.. so i know what i have.. like say graphic card: then w/e you think should be good.. i could use onboard sound for now and even graphics.. aslong as it has a slot for me to put better ones down the road
