A few questions about new build.

I have a microsoft opical mouse with scroll wheel and when i shut off my pc the mouse stays lite up, the red optical light on the mouse never shuts off. Any body know why? Also when i turn on my pc the lights and fans turn on for a sec, then turn off then a second later the fans and everything else turns on. How come it doesnt just turn on, why does it flicker on for a sec then shut off then finally turn on?
 
Most mice do this, its not a problem:)

Your double booting issue, itsn't too much of a problem either, it may only be if as it turns on, the hard drive spins up aswell, does it?

I know my P5B Deluxe does it, and a few other P5B Models also do, its just an issue people have, haven't ever heard of it with any Gigabyte boards before though:confused:
 
Well i keep on fergetting to check if it spins up, but i will try to see next time. Is there a way to fix the mouse issue so it doesnt stay on?

{edit}The double booting issue only happens when i shut off the power to the power supply with the switch on the rear, i was doing this cause the mouse wouldnt shut off, so i figured out how to fix that one.

never shuts off? is it wireless? because if its wireless, mine shuts off when the wireless hub gets shut off i think, but i know its off. if wired just unplug it
 
thats fine, i mean it will still last like five years at least.

its not like you are looking at it constantly...right?
