A good action/adventure game

I'm looking for a good action/adventure type game to buy. I would like a more recent one if possible too. I'm getting slightly bored of shooters, and I have enough RPG's to play.

Any links to some and possibly reviews with them would be helpful.
 
I've played GTA too. I'm trying to find games that are less popular but still amazing because I play most of the popular games that are great.

Sacred
Titan Quest
Dungeon Siege 2
any of the Splinter Cell games (chaos theory is my favorite)
any of the Hitman games (Hitman 1 is a bit lacking so start with 2)

I think Hitman: Codename 47 (1) and Hitman: Blood Money (4) are the best ones while Hitman: Silent Assassin (2) and Hitman: Contracts (3) are the weakest in the series. Definitely play Codename 47 as well, if possible.

I just picked up sacred 2 the other day and I"m loving it. I was looking into titan quest and saw that they released an expansion not too long ago. I guess I'll have to check it out.
