A good DVD burner program to buy.?

Nero is great. I like it... but I specifically went out of my way to find the discontinued version 6 of the Ultra Suite, because I hear (I may be wrong here, so don't quote me...) that version 7 is full of bugs and issues. I hated Roxio with a passion, mainly because it would not recognize my burner, and the interface was quite clumsy.

what to you want to burn?
just data, or for example you want to burn family photos slide show?
if you just want to burn data, then all program are ok. I use nero 6.

i have nero 7. there is nothing wong with it, its not the best. There a few bugs in it.
I would look into nero 6.

For just plain old DVD copying. I use DVD XCopy Platinum.
For ripping and such I use Alcohol 120%
And I compliment it all with AnyDVD.
DVD X Copy is somewhat hard to find and expensive, but it is amazing. I have a copy I can sell if anyone is interested.
