I need a good Dx10 card.
$600 max. But not looking to spend $600.
So around $500 I guess...
Needs to work well with vista.
Needs to play a lot of games maxed out.
Play new games, and stays up to date for awhile.

Oh wow... so many choices! I dont know how i'm going to decide!

Oh wait, there are only two DX10 cards out, the GTS and GTX :P

I'd go with the 8800GTS 320MB if you want a card that will perform great, but also not want to spend a crap load of money, since it performs almost identical to it's 640MB brother. And the GTX isnt an earth shattering difference either, but if you have lots of money to throw away (like it seems), then get the GTX.
 
Yeah omega... Theres a lot of the same cards, but different brands...


When are the new ATI cards coming out?

And isn't nvidia releasing new cards to?

There coming out in may and nvidia's releasing the 8500 and 8600 series I think tomorrow or at least this month. Also the 8900 series is coming out but I'm not sure when.
 
lol i would get the cheapest 8800gts. then if you aren't satisfied with the performance add another for a nice SLI setup.

not many games utilize DX10 graphics though.. but if i were buying right now thats what id do.
