I finish building my first computer a few weeks ago and I was thinking of putting in a network card so I can connect to wifi. What network card would you guys recommend? Also would a network card connect to a wireless printer?

The ASUS N53 pci-express adapter is a good one. I have one in my HTPC.

The wireless printer would connect to your wireless router, and then you connect to the printer through the wireless network.

I would look at the ASUS PCE-AC56 and Asus PCE-AC68 PCI-E network cards. They support 802.11ac, with the AC68 having a separate antenna so you can mount it in a better location if you are far from the AP.

Why do you like the PCE-AC56 over the 66 Geoff?
Only because of price. Some people may not want to spend $100 for a wireless card when they can get a similar one minus the separate antennas, if for instance their router was in the same room.

Would the use of USB wifi be an option? It saved me some time and money. It's pretty stable for my working needs. ~under $15

Depends what you need for speed. USB 2.0 is only 450Mbps IIRC. They work pretty well, but you would get better performance and range out of a different unit like the ones we mentioned earlier.
