Ive now realised how low prices are and am thinking, i could finally ditch SKT 939 and DDR 400 for this :

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-058-GL (friend can vouch for this ram - runs at 1066 MHz easy)
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CP-151-IN
And only for £170, using all of the rest of my stuff i already have.
Id over clock the Pentium to around 2.8 - 3.2 GHz until the new 45nm chips are out and cheap
Id also sell the old mobo cpu and ram on ebay to get a bit more cash.
Money isnt realy a problem.
Would anyone else do this if they were me?
Or would they just stay put with my machine for a year or two.
Or should i wait for the 45nm's to come out and not think about getting a pentium for now.
Your thoughts?
