im trying to OC my 4400+. stock the FSB is 200. anything above 210 it wont boot. at 220 i tried to get it to boot by upping the voltage from 1.35 to 1.375 and 1.4 with no luck. any ideas on what i should do? i would like to get it to 220 which is about 2.4ghz.

it works if i OC through windows tho. but i dont want to do it through BIOS.

thanks! i got it to boot at 220 FSB. i set the HT to 2.5x. should i go lower? 5x, 4x, 3x, 2.5x, 2x, and 1x are my options.

It was probably at 4x stock, so when you overclock it say, to 250, you should put it down to 3, etc. But keep it at 2.5x until you know the limits of your cpu and motherboard.

correct me if im wrong but I think that the HT multiplier is the equivalent of a 'clock multiplier'.

Just a more fancy way of saying it i think..
