A new laptop... .. .

Can anyone suggest which laptop manufacture/builder gives the best value for money? Any links would be helpful too? I am looking to use it for gaming and music creation? The quieter the better as well...is this possible???

MSI would be my recommendation.... or Asus

I have an Apache Pro with a 6700hq and 970gtx in it (bout 16 months old now) and its been tremendously good!

i agree, with my experience MSI and Asus are the best for the price. i have a older MSI gaming laptop and it works great. i also have a 2 year old Asus laptop. i dont know the exact models because they are currently not in use. both laptops work well despite there old age.
