A Noob needs help

Hey so I am a noob when it comes to computers CPU ect. I know the basics but hopefully some more experienced vets to computing can help me here.

Just want to know what is best for my money and what performs better out these 3 CPU's

The i7 2600 and the 2600k are the best for your money, especially the k series if you plan on overclocking. They overclock pretty easily and I've actually seen step by step guides for practically guaranteed overclocks of say 4.5Ghz with just an aftermarket air cooler. The non-k series can't really overclock so if you don't plan on doing so, I'd say get that.

Thank you, I do not plan to overclock cause I don't want to risk damaging my components. So Ill eliminate the other 2 from my choices most likely unless some else posts and persuades me to do something else.

£24 might be worth it. OC is fun and you might want to play with it later. But yea you would be fine with 2600. But if you really don't want to OC have you considered i5 2500. I only suggest because the performance is very close and if you are not bleeding edge you could save a few £.
