A Problem with user accounts

Every time I try to change my user account under " change the way users log on or off" it gives me the following message and does not allow me to change it.
"The system cannot find message text for message number 0x%1 in the message file for %2"

Anybody have any idea why I can't change this option under my user accounts?

how are you login on this pc ? locally or a domain.
Did you install or do anything recently that might have screw up windows ?

Try "control userpasswords2" without quotes.(Use Run)
