Hey as im building my own pc i was searching for a power suply.

I read the 101 at the top and it said that it needs 24A+ on the 12V rail.
I searched at the shop where i buy all the parts and could only find the Vantec ion 2 460W with 30A on the 12V rail. It costs about $75,- icl. shipping US.
It's silent it's black and it's out of stock :'(

By any chance is there a PSU as good as this one or around this one in that price range?? Preferably in Holland?

(the shipping in US is another story so don't ask :P)

well.. i currently have a LC power 550W PSU with 24 Amps on the +12V rail.
but because im going SLI i need somthing stronger.
that PSU costed me 30 eurie's ( i did get a special price for it tough,.. because i bought my whole pc there :) ).
(i live in the netherlands too )

hmm the site of that psu is not very helpfull :P

how many watts do i need for a a8n-e, amd athlon64 3000+, 6600GT pci-e, 1x sata hdd 1x ata hdd?

btw that 24A+ on 12V rail is rare to find :S are there so many bad psu's or did Praetor exaggerate? I also see alot of psu's with +/- 5% something witch i read needs to be around 3% or more?

anyway of you have tips they're welcome.. i have about 70 euro (inc. shipping)

i run my pc ( in the sig ) with a 24A @ +12V, so yes, that will be more than enough :)
you might want to check out www.marktplaats.nl :P
then have some great PSU's there.

i also want to sell my PSU, its a stable one.. but 24 Amp is not enough for 2 overclocked 6800GT's :P

any seosonic psu are amazingly efficiant and good rufley having 36 or 34a on the +12 v i have one but it it a bit pricy but worth it if you want to upgrade in the future and you dont want to upgrade you psu

http://www.lc-power.com/ <- check out the scorpio
