A quality laptop

I need a laptop for both work, gaming and for lots of multitasking.
It should work for more than 5 years with minimum maintained.
Battery life is not a problem.
Budget is 1500 $.
I have had bad experience with DELL.
The Staples computer mall owner also told me DELL have bad quality laptops in India, is that true?
 
Try Asus if you can get hold of that.
CPU - core i7
Video card, within your budget - HD 5870 > GTX 460m > GTS 360m > HD 5730

Here is some model you could find in US. But I am not sure if you can get those in india
N61JQ/ N71JQ/ G51JX/ G73JH/ G73JW
 
Your right, its not popular here, but is there any other brand, that can work for over 5 years
